Actually its species, not variety. Aloe is the the genus chinensis and barbadensis are the species.

Is there a way to prevent the tips of the aloe vera from getting sun burnt? Also, I have very small baby plants that i want to move outside to grow bigger, but my first aloe almost died from direct sun from my window.
